SSRS is administered via a web interface and can be used to prepare and deliver a variety of printed and interacted reports. It also provides an interface into Microsoft Visual Studio so that developers can connect to SQL databases and use the tools to format reports alongside SQL administrators, in a more complex way.
However, for those less technical users, there is also a ‘Report Builder’ tool which allows users to format SQL reports of lesser complexity.
