It can be categorised into two sections, a server-side
scripting or a client-side scripting language. The most renowned server-side scripting languages are Python, PHP and Perl; whilst the most common client-side scripting language is JavaScript.

Scripts are an open source that allows IT users to view and adapt a script
when required. They are particularly useful for IT professionals because they do not need a file to be compiled. Additionally, it allows you to adapt
programs into a more sophisticated and faster application.

Many employees within the IT profession would have used, and will be
comfortable with using, scripts in their tasks at work. Scripts are easy to
learn, and just as easy to write, and will therefore be an industry standard for anyone working within IT, particularly those within the support and design sectors.
