After an acquisition in 2007 by SAP, the original company
Business Objects came together with the company to create a platform of
applications to aid businesses with the smooth running of their company.
The software is widely used as it allows users to view, sort and analyse their date easily. SAP Business Objects includes a suite of front-end applications.
One of the applications, Crystal Reports, allows its user to generate a report. Xcelsius, another available platform, is a visual data tool which allows its user to create charts and graphs before placing them onto an interactive dashboard. Other applications include Web Intelligence and Explorer.
