Recruitment is the process of sourcing highly-qualified candidates to fill a role within an organisation, either on a temporary or permanent basis depending on the needs of the company.
Those within recruitment build relationships with clients in order to gain a better understanding of their needs and requirements. It is also the responsibility of Recruitment Consultants to attract candidates through networking, headhunting and through referrals.
Those who work within recruitment may also be responsible for drafting advertising copy for use through a range of media sources and will screen candidates who apply for roles by performing background checks and interviews. Suitable candidates will then be presented to the client.
