Life/400 refers to the life assurance administration system that was released
for the IBM AS/400 in late 1980s. The purpose of the system was to serve its
mid-range portfolio, complimenting the general insurance system known as

AS/400 and Life/400 was later replaced by the IBM iSeries. Some IT
