Analysts will need the ability to understand and monitor the data collected to later present and explain the information both visually, verbally and in written forms when required. Data Analysts share and transfer the information gathered in the form of reports; these can then be shared with other departments and individuals who require them for their work.
The ability to effectively work with statistical software, analytic tools and methods are paramount for those within Data Analysis. Assessments of the quality of the data should be carried out, along with developing alternative ways of generating data to increase efficiency, automation and to form a broader and more in depth understanding.
