CAPSIL, sometimes shown as CAPS-IL, is a software that was developed by the US company, CAPSCO Inc., who originated in Chicago and was later acquired by Capsco-Pallm Systems. IBM later bought the company and the rights to the software. CAPSIL stands for Computer Assisted Programming Services – Individual Life (CAPS-IL). It was a software designed for both small businesses and departments within larger organisations, allowing for users to track and record their workloads.

The software is no longer sold in America. However, there are companies internationally who still sell a version of it for IBM entitled AS-400 for the IBM iSeries.
