Despite being slightly cryptic, the language is fairly easy to learn, and a
knowledge of at least the basic structures is beneficial to anyone wishing to work in an IT department. The language itself is what’s known as compiled, meaning once you write the scripts in your C program, you must also run it through a C compiler, which makes it a script that machines and computers can understand.
