My Dublin-based client is looking for a Windows Support Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

My Dublin-based client is looking for a Windows Support Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This client is an industry leader with exciting plans to further expand the business and its IT solutions. This offers challenging projects and excellent career progression.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the roll out of Microsoft cloud technologies
  • Administration, maintenance and improvement of Microsoft IT solutions
  • Contribute to the successful adoption and efficient use of new technologies
  • Collaborate with the relevant support teams and third party vendors
  • Translate business requirements to deliver end user computing solutions
  • Create design documents and propose solutions to stakeholders

Experience Required

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a similar Windows Support Engineer / Systems Administrator role
  • Proven track record of supporting IT hardware and software
  • Experience dealing with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in a cloud environment would be ideal but not essential

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Strong technical acumen
  • Curious and interested in new technologies
  • Quick learner with a desire to continuous improve skills
  • Excellent communications skills, ability to work alone and as part of a team

Educational Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or relevant degree
  • Relevant IT certifications would be desirable (MCITP, MCSD, MCSA, MCSE)
