UX Designer

My Dublin city centre client has an exciting opportunity for a UX Designer to join their expanding team as the company embarks on a crucial period of growth. Play a key role in design projects that aim to deliver user-focused software solutions to an international customer base.

Candidates must provide a portfolio that shows evidence of UX processes such as workflows, wireframes, and user design methods.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and usability testing to understand customer needs and gather user feedback.
• Create personas, user stories, and storyboards that capture user experiences and communicate design ideas.
• Design and deliver wireframes, sketches, prototypes, and sitemaps.
• Create innovative designs for new products as well as identifying areas of improvement for legacy products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI Designers, Product Managers, etc) to share ideas and provide the best possible solutions for customers.
• Suggest changes and present recommendations to stakeholders in accordance with user requirements.

Experience Required

• 3+ years’ experience as a UX Designer
• Proven track record of conducting user research and designing solutions that are customer-focused and user friendly.
• Strong portfolio that demonstrates workflows, wireframes, and user design methods.

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Strong knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, Figma, InVision Studio, etc.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively gather customer requirements.
• Creative and collaborative mindset that thrives in an Agile team environment.
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS would be a bonus

Educational Requirements

• Third level degree in Design, Computer Science or another relevant field, or equivalent experience
