Job Description

My Dublin based client are looking for a talented UI Developer to join their team on initial 12 month FTC, with a view to go permanent after. Excellent opportunity with a growing company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining UI framework for the company and it’s clients.
  • Development of web pages, UI components and email templates, applying best practices for UX, SEO and compliance
  • Work alongside our UX designers & developers team to extend and maintain the Group UI pattern library.
  • Work with the team and assist in UX researching
  • Create wireframes & interactive prototypes for new features.

Experience Required

  • 3-5+ years of experience working as a UI/Frontend developer (preferably within the financial services industry)
  • Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS and CSS pre-processors (such as SASS).
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of React JS and Javascript.
  • Experience using package management software such as NPM or Nuget and build tools (Gulp).
  • Experience establishing, developing and improving for accessibility.
  • Experience using Google Analytics and other similar data analysis tools.
  • An up-to-date portfolio of UI and related design work.
  • Experience using source control systems

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Experience of working in an Agile environment would be beneficial.
  • An understanding of Angular JS and C# .NET would be beneficial.
  • Up to date with best practices, trends and emerging technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence decision making at all levels including senior management level.
