About this role

A market leader in renewable energy are looking to add to their existing R&D team in their offices in Dublin. They are specifically looking for a talented JavaScript Developer (Angular, Backbone, Ember, React) with a passion for all things front end (HTML5, CSS3, OO Javascript).

As the JavaScript (Angular, Backbone, Ember, React) developer you will have an interest in creating rich user interfaces that utilise modern techniques to reduce load time and maximise performance across multiple platforms. Any experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, REST API’s is highly desirable.

Essential skills & experience UI / UX Developer

  • A passion for JavaScript – Backbone / Angular / Ember / React / jQuery.
  • HTML5 & CSS3 (SASS / LESS)
  • Mobile (iOS and Android) applications Development
  • Comfortable with Linux command line tools
  • UX / UI Design Experience

Desired skills & experience UI / UX Developer

  • NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch)
  • REST API development (Node.js)
  • SysAdmin / DevOps – Nginx, Puppet, Ansible
  • TDD/BDD – Mocha, Jasmine, Cucumber, Webdriver, Protractor
