Test Manager

My Dublin-based client has a brand new opportunity for a Test Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be working with a well-established Financial Services organisation that provides challenging projects and excellent progression opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the Test team including defining objectives, mapping progression paths, training, and day-to-day support
• Drive the implementation of test automation tools to enhance quality and reduce cost
• Collaborate with leaders from different teams (BA, PM, PMO) on strategy, design, quality, and delivery of projects
• Oversee test processes, tools, documentation, methodology, and quality
• Conduct root cause analysis and trend analysis on defects and failures
• Contribute to solution design proposals and complete feasibility assessments
• Keep track of testing performance, quality, risks, costs, and issues throughout the delivery of the projects

Experience Required

• 5-10 years’ experience in testing roles
• 3+ years’ experience in a Test Management role
• Experience in Financial Services industry
• Experience in implementing test automation
• People management experience
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Jira experience
• Experience with migration projects would be desirable

Educational Requirements

• Third level qualification
• Professional qualification in testing (ISEB level 2)
