Job Description

Our Financial Services Client is looking a Technical Support Specialist- Middleware to join the team for an initial 6 month daily rate contract role.

The Middleware team are responsible for support and management of infrastructure, for ongoing service and project requirements, for a broad range of Middleware technologies including Weblogic, Websphere, Tomcat, Apache, IIS, MQ.

Job Responsibilities

  • Providing senior level support in Middleware technologies
  • Infrastructure support for businesses in Ireland, UK and Germany
  • Implementation of system changes and project implementations, some out-of-hours
  • Incident & Problem Management
  • Application Deployment, some out-of-hours
  • Vulnerabiity management and related patching of Middleware infrastructure
  • Infrastructure Capacity planning and management

Experience Required

  • Weblogic, Websphere, Tomcat, WildFly application servers
  • IBM MQ
  • Internet technologies
  • Apache / IBM HTTP Server
  • SSL Security and Certificate Management
