My South Dublin based client is recruiting for a Technical Support Specialist. This role is on a perm basis. The successful candidate will be expected to use their technical skills to deliver an excellent customer service and improve their services to the customer by working closely with the development team. The role is suited to someone who has a strong IT knowledge especially in networks and communications.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide 1st line phone support for our hardware solutions for their clients
- Responsible for co-ordinating, prioritising and monitoring support calls
- Take ownership of and manage support issues through to resolution
- Provide proactive monitoring of customer sites
- Develop and manage training resources for staff and customers
- Deliver outstanding customer service standards by answering all calls promptly, remaining courteous and professional always
- Provide problem diagnosis, using appropriate support tools for hardware, software & in-house applications
- Work with the development team to improve the customer offering
- Schedule engineers for site visits and work with onsite engineers to resolve customer issues
Experience Required

Essential and Desirable Skills

- Self-starter who uses own initiative.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexible with a growth mindset
- Knowledge of cloud-based architecture – Nice to have

Very efficient job hunting process. I sent an application in the morning, I was contacted in the afternoon, I got an interview scheduled for the day after and got an offer on the same day! Nicola Byrne from Eolas Recruitment is an exceptional recruitment consultant. She was always available to answer questions via email or phone and always willing to offer advice where needed. An interview was initially set up for a role in Dublin, but due to personal reasons, I was unable to attend. Jonathan rearranged the interview with the minimum of fuss. I would highly recommend Eolas as they were very professional and great to deal with. I was dealing with Nicola who helped me get the job I was after and kept me updated on progress on at all times and provided interview tips that came in very handy. I would definitely use Eolas again and would contact Nicola as first point of call if ever I was looking for a career move in the future.

Cannot say enough nice things about Stephen H and Yasmin in Eolas.
