My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Service Delivery Manager to join the team on a perm basis.

Overview

My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Technical Service Manager this a perm role with an excellent client. The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic environment and will be a key player in developing new solutions and services working with a 3rd party and ensuring existing systems and services are optimized to enable the operations. The Technical Service Manager will have direct responsibility for the continuous development and support of key components of the system including data management and image systems, CRM solutions, web services, interface and presentation layer of the website, and continuously developing mobile apps. The Technical Service Manager will also provide a lead role in supporting our BAU maintenance team activities and is therefore expected to have good technical knowledge in SQL databases, IT security, networks and infrastructure.

Maintenance

  • Develop from conceptualisation new intelligent systems solutions which leverages on existing architecture and processes and reflects client requirements
  • Become a development product /service expert, building to an in-depth knowledge of new solutions, competitive positioning and industry trends
  • Plan, manage, and drive work streams with a specific focus on how to make sure the agreed technology solutions are delivered to meet the needs of our clients
  • Work simultaneously supporting the existing technology services while also developing new solutions with varying degrees of complexity
  • Take responsibility for the development of new technology solutions from requirements gathering to support handover
  • Work with the Management team to ensure adequate infrastructure and support is available for all project delivery while BAU is maintained
  • Continually analyse, propose and develop our existing processes and procedures with our third-party suppliers to improve how we and they work
  • Establish with the Technology Management a development and improvement program and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Develop technical blueprints for new data management services and solutions
  • Liaise with both internal and external suppliers to ensure quality standards in maintenance of roadside equipment
  • Ensure consistent documentation to meet contractual, regulatory and technical requirements
  • Understand core DB and infrastructure to enable lending expertise to both integrating systems and internal/external teams
  • Establish with the Technology Management a development and improvement program and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Develop technical blueprints for new data management services and solutions
  • Achieve agreed upon Management targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Identify potential for new products and services and actively promote these to gain buy-in
  • Keep abreast of technology and industry best practices and trends
  • Support the Head of Technical Services and other members of the team
  • As a member of the Technical Services team the person will be liaising closely with our project and development teams, third party developers and the client directly
  • Working in a high collaboration role within your department and internal stakeholders

Qualifications Required

  • Technology qualifications to min level 6
  • 3 years previous experience required in technology solution development and support
  • Previous experience in IT Team and 3rd party development management
  • Previous experience in a client facing role
  • Additional technical and /or project management certification an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
