Technical Project Manager

My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for a Technical Project Manager to join the team on a contract or perm basis. This role will be a hybrid model. The successful candidate should have a min of 3 years in a client facing role and a proven track record of managing multiple projects in parallel and be comfortable in managing stakeholders from various different organisations. The PM will be managing projects that are principally software based both as a standard product offering and with additional custom functionality developed specifically for the client.

Job Responsibilities

• A min of 3+ years  in a client facing Project/Programme role
• Have a proven track record of managing & delivering multiple projects at the same time
• Skilled in managing stakeholders from different organisations, both collaborating partner organisations & the end-client
• Proven ability to deliver on software projects, from start to finish
• Uncover & understand customer needs & translate them into requirements
• Have ability to work well with internal teams, including developers, architects, quality assurance, UI/UX designers & stakeholders.
• Ensure requirements & their implications are fully understood & that implementation plans match expectations
• Be familiar with a wide range of Project Management tools & techniques & be able to apply them in different ways, to ensure all dependencies are identified & all risks are similarly captured & remedial actions are agreed
• Self-organising & able to chair routine meetings with the client & partners as well as being able to fit into the programme role for projects with a larger set of stakeholders. Confident & clear in your messaging as well as being able pick up & act on any underlying concerns
• Deep understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle & how that is mapped to the expectations of the client

Experience Required

• Previous experience of working on technical software projects, for example within QA or development
• Experience of Cloud based solutions e.g. AWS, Azure
• Familiarity with the Kanban method in a software development environment
