Job Description
South East of Ireland based client requires a Technical Project Manager to join their expanding team on a permanent basis
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the time and tasks of the development / production team, to deliver features as agreed with the clients
- Gather requirements from the client and communicate the project deliverable’s
- Responsible for day to day activity of the technical team and report on this to the CTO
- Responsible for project management tasks for a software development product
- Mostly focusing on reporting dashboards and tickets in Jira, spreadsheets, confluence, checklists
- Arranging bug and design triages, release planning with the Product Owner and clients
- Deliver agreed targets and release plans
- Establish and drive processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and communication within the teams, and the rest of the studio
- Review together with the team and the key ‘internal customers’ the usability and efficiency of features during development to facilitate iterative improvement and feedback
- Integrate bug reports from the QA team into your reports to provide transparency on quality for various areas of feature development
Experience Required
- 5 years’ experience as a senior level project manager in software development products and services
- Must have technical understanding and experience working on web, mobile, PC software development, with a focus on Unity and VR development environments
- 5+ years of production experience in development teams
- Experience in software as a service, agile development, live SAAS product development
- Proven experience on release process and upkeep of live software services
- Proven experience building, motivating and driving high performing teams
- Naturally be a very structured and well organised person
- Excellent communication and people interaction skills
- Excellent ability to visualise data and convey information clearly and succinctly
- Can combine and review multiple sources of information to discern patterns or needs
Essential and Desirable Skills
- Solid understanding of Agile and standard practices
- Experience working with JIRA, Confluence or equivalent
- Worked in large scale agile teams (bonus)
- Worked on large live service games (bonus)
- Certification as Scrum Master (bonus)
