Our Dublin Based client is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their experienced team.

Role Purpose

  • Our Dublin Based client is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join the team.
  • The successful candidate will act as an intermediary between the customer and the development teams.
  • They will define projects and features, capture business requirements, & write detailed functional and test specifications.
  • They will direct the development of IT strategy, that supports the strategic business plan and co-ordinate this effort across IT

 

Skills Required

 

-6+ years of technical project management experience

-Deep understanding of all aspects of software design

-Ability to work with multiple partners.

-Experience managing Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development

-Experience managing project budgets and reporting

-Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to effectively communicate across third parties and senior stakeholders

-Experience in clarifying objectives, dealing with ambiguity/under‐defined problems, advocating for simplification, and influencing teams

-Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation

-Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, relevant work experience

-PMI certification is a plus

-Experience with Infrastructure platforms and Technologies.

-Financial Services experience is a plus

 

Responsible For

 

-Drives integrated teams to deliver technology solutions in support of key programme initiatives by working closely with business owners, architects, engineers, and quality assurance

-Works within and across Programme to prioritize, plan and execute the INFRA plan for major releases

-Manages and tracks team capacity, financials, and other KPI’s in relation to the plan and published progress reports

-Maintains dependency plan between planned sprints across engineering, infrastructure, and third parties

-Manages, and appropriately escalates, delivery impediments, risks, issues and changes tied to the environment delivery

-Conducts daily stand-ups and ensures that the team is continuously learning from the past

-Identifying innovative opportunities
