Technical Business Analyst

My Dublin-based client is looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join their newly developed Change & Transformation department. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation with challenging projects and excellent career progression.

Job Responsibilities

• Build relationships with key stakeholders and gather business requirements in order to translate them into actionable solutions for Change & Technology initiatives.
• Contribute to the technology roadmap through cost-benefit analysis, business planning, and process optimisation.
• Collaborate with various teams across the business, including: Technology, Quality Assurance, Project Management, etc.
• Drive the design, analysis, and delivery of project implementations. This includes identifying risks, resolving issues, and consistently checking the outcomes meet with business needs.
• Mentor and provide direction to a small number of team members.

Experience Required

• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst / Systems Analyst within a technical environment.
• Experience as a Team Lead would be a distinct advantage.
• Experience working on large scale technology implementation projects.
• Experience in process optimisation strategies and methodologies, such as LEAN.

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Excellent understanding of methodologies and best practices for Business / System Analysis.
• Expertise in translating business needs into technological requirements.
• Understanding of technical concepts across technology design, system analysis, and architectural methods.
• Ability to negotiate and influence key decisions.

Educational Requirements

• Third level degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Business Analysis, etc)
• Relevant certifications would be a bonus (e.g. PMP)
