Job Description
Dublin City Centre based client is looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join their team on a 12 months Fixed Term Contract Basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as a functional expert on the company’s business systems
- Assist in the information and requirements gathering process
- Draft, finalize and support the sign off of functional specifications
- Facilitate workshops to support the functional specification process
- Manage the implementation of a comprehensive system testing methodology to included functional system testing and assistance of the UAT process
- Collaborate with the development team to support the implementation of new software
- Assist in the development and implementation of training plans to support all system rollouts
- Produce system test plans, test scenarios and test scripts from functional requirements
- Set up test data and system test configuration to support the testing phase – Execute and support the testing phase of projects / system development

- Ability to understand and implement Business Intelligence software
- Keeping up to date with the latest technologies and trends, and make improvements if required
Experience Required
- Proven experience and knowledge of project management and core business consulting skills, including the Software Development Life Cycle
- Proven experience of working within a Project Management Office
- Proven experience of delivering business systems analyst services
- Proven track record in process analysis, design and ICT implementation
- Excellent influencing skills with the confidence to deal with staff effectively at all levels throughout the organisation
- Excellent ability to develop IT solutions based on Business need and requirements
Educational Requirements
- Relevant Third Level qualification (e.g. Degree) in ICT, business studies, or equivalent is desirable
