Job Description

Dublin based solutions client are looking to add a Systems Engineer to their team on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing, integrating, and validating system technologies.
  • Designing experiments to benchmark and troubleshoot these technologies.
  • Collaborating with software and engineering teams in mock-up development
  • Collate and analyse data to optimise the technologies.
  • Rapidly troubleshooting and solving technical issues on prototype machines.

Experience Required

  • Experienced in basic programming or modelling tools

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Good problem solving abilities, you should be an innovator at heart.
  • Scientific mindset/methodology (design of experiments)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Passionate about continuous development
  • Team worker – at ease in high-performance multidisciplinary teams
  • Python/ MatLAB
  • Knowledgeable in one or more of the following disciplines:
    • Automation, vision systems, optics, or spectroscopy

Educational Requirements

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering / Science.
