Systems Analyst

My Dublin City Centre client is looking for a Systems Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be working in a Financial Services environment, supporting the implementation of brand new systems that will be used across the business. Candidates must have 3+ years’ experience in System Analysis with an excellent understanding of system configuration, implementation & integration.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, integrate, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of new and legacy applications
• Coordinate with stakeholders to establish project scope and system requirements
• Create technical specifications and data mapping for developers and testers to follow
• Define and coordinate testing procedures and develop test cases to support quality assurance processes
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to find innovative solutions to IT business problems and technical issues
• Promote best practices to assure system functionality, scalability, and performance

Experience Required

• 3+ years’ experience in System Analysis / Technical Business Analysis roles
• Proven track record of successfully implementing and integrating business applications
• Solid understanding of data management and best practices
• Experience working in a Financial Services / Regulatory environment would be a bonus, but not essential

Educational Requirements

• Third level degree in IT, Business Systems, or similar field (or equivalent experience)
