My client is recruiting for a Systems Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis. You can work from Ireland (Hybrid / Remote) or Spain ( Remote).
Job Responsibilities
- You will perform examinations of the company’s IT systems & infrastructure & identify areas of improvements & optimisation
- You will collaborate with the Business Analysts, Project Leads & Technical teams to resolve issues & ensuring solutions are viable & consistent
- You will create system guidelines & manuals for the organisation
- You will run training sessions & workshops on system processes
- You will document requirements for new systems & may also help implement them & monitor their effectiveness.
- You will translate highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements
- Implement, configure, & test feasible solutions.
- You will responsible for the design & deployment of user training & feedback on new systems
Experience Required
- 5+ years’ experience working with information technologies and systems analysis
- Have proven ability to assess business needs & translate them into relevant solutions
- Very strong communication (verbal and written) and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences; backed-up with strong interpersonal, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills
- Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
- Strong computer, hardware, software, & analytical skills
- Working knowledge of programming languages, security concepts and open standards
- Experience working in an environment that uses REST APIs & Web services, application servers & database technologies
Essential and Desirable Skills
- 5+ years’ experience working with information technologies and systems analysis
- Have proven ability to assess business needs & translate them into relevant solutions
- Working knowledge of programming languages, security concepts and open standards
- Experience working in an environment that uses REST APIs & Web services, application servers & database technologies
- Engineering background, with proven experience in solution design and technical architecture
- Strong security and data protection awareness, relating to GDPR would be an advantage
- Proficient user of Excel, Outlook and Word
Educational Requirements
- A degree in a technical or IT subject, or comparable experience gained from a related role.
