Systems Analyst

My Dublin based client is recruiting for a IT Systems Analyst to join the team. This role initially is a 1 year Fixed Term contract with a possibility of going longer.

Job Responsibilities

• Regular production and analysis of core datasets and reports
• Data preparation, including extraction of target data from databases, integration of datasets, and creation of derived variables, the application of business rules, and quality control checks.
• Manage responses to queries following the production  of BI and other reports, building solutions into existing reports for the future and liasing with other departments to ensure needs are met.
• Be involved in the IT department on cross-functional projects as requested including Data Transformation.

Experience Required

• 5 years IT experience
• Understanding of data warehouse design
• Strong skills on SQL
• Experience in using Power Bi
• Strong analytical skills

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in an IT related discipline
• 5 years IT experience

• Working knowledge of IT deliverables and KPI’s
• Report writing and documentation skills
• Coding experience e.g. c#, vb.net or vb6 – Nice to have
