Job Description

My Dublin city centre global Asset Management firm and they are looking for a Junior SQL Developer / front-office developer to join the current team

You will be joining a team who are responsible for building and supporting my client’s front-office applications.

The ideal candidate would have strong SQL experience and have exposure to database-driven applications.

The Role:

  • Develop front office solutions for trade and other portfolio management.
  • Troubleshoot, refactor and build new functionality in SQL based applications
  • Help to build an analytics database to help managers identify investment opportunities.
  • Support and build out Operations workflows

Experience:

  • 2-3 years development experience in relational database/ SQL-heavy environments
  • 2-3 years of experience in Financial Services / Technology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of credit instruments and the credit market
  • Experience working with front office investment professionals
  • Python, Java, Ruby or other OO language experience a plus
