Job Description

Our Dublin based Financial Services Client are seeking a skilled and experienced SQL Developer to join our team on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain database structures to support business applications and reporting needs.
  • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to retrieve and manipulate data efficiently.
  • Optimize and fine-tune database performance, including query optimization, indexing, and database tuning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and errors in a timely manner.
  • Perform data migration, transformation, and ETL processes as needed.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with best practices and company policies.
  • Document database designs, configurations, and changes.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience as a SQL Developer or Database Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL programming and database management.
  • Proficiency in database design, normalization, and data modeling.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, SSRS, Powershell, Power BI, SolarWinds
  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
  • Familiarity with database security and data privacy regulations.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
