My client based in Dublin is currently recruiting for a new Solutions Architect to join the team on a permanent basis. There will be a blend of working remotely and office based. The client offers an attractive benefits package and a competitive salary
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and develop end-to-end solutions that meet the business requirements of our clients.
- Work with clients to understand their business processes, requirements, and pain points, and translate those into technical solutions.
- Create detailed technical documentation and diagrams, including system architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and process diagrams.
- Work with project managers and development teams to estimate effort, plan work, and ensure that solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and provide guidance on best practices and emerging technologies.
Essential/ Desirable Skills.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Solutions Architect role.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies and services, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
- Experience with solution architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and critically.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in an Agile environment, with a focus on delivering solutions iteratively and incrementally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
- Experience with security and compliance requirements in the cloud.
- Experience with data management and analytics solutions.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
