Job Description
Our Dublin based client are looking for a Solution Architect to join their team on a two year contract basis. This role will present the opportunity to work with a well known brand name
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing Solution Architecture services and design as part of the successful delivery of various strategic IT projects
- Preparation of High‐Level Designs based on the business requirements and project needs
- Have key inputs in review meetings focused on tender responses
- Scope out integration work and items of work for ancillary systems
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to address any design issues that arise
- Architecture Requirements, Verification and Validation
- Risk management and escalation for projects and business requirements
- Requirement analysis and the production of Architecture designs and documents ensuring there is alignment to company standards.
- Provide architect knowledge and guidance for the implementation of the end‐to‐end solutions as per business requirements
- Support the Pre‐Qualification phase of a Tender process
- Support the generation of Tender documentation
- Review, score and manage vendor responses at various stages
- Attend Vendor workshops & presentations as required
Experience Required
- Primary Degree or MSc from a relevant Technology discipline
- 6-8 years’ experience in Solution Design and Architecture, ideally with a background in Solution Delivery
- Ability to produce accurate and clear solution designs that meet business requirements
- Experience of delivering high quality, complex solutions in an enterprise environment
- An awareness and up to date knowledge of the latest technology trends and how they be used to benefit an organization
- Ability to work on your own accord and take ownership of various activities
- Capacity to deliver under pressure and working to deadlines
- Experience working on a change or transformation project would be beneficial
- Must have excellent communication skills and be capable of working effectively at all levels in an organization
