Job Description
My large international client is looking for a passionate and driven Software Operations Manager to join their growing on a permanent basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage OKR’s and KPI metrics and dashboard, including product development, quality, resource management and customer delivery metrics
- Govern research and development funding applications and submissions across national and international bodies
- Responsible for facilitating program governance meetings and forums to solve critical business challenges and track resulting commitments and actions
- Coordinate with financial partners to support the planning and reviews of the annual budget
- Produce ad-hoc metrics data/materials to support communication between stakeholders, including customers, investors, sales teams and senior executives
- Work alongside Portfolio Managers to auditability improve the efficiency and effectiveness of company operations, generating a positive return on investment for the business
- Coordinate with HR on recruitment, onboarding and co-ordination of people related data. This includes coordinating of hires and job descriptions, validating employee onboarding and ensuring the quality of HR data such as job entry/exit, vacation, probation and related financial/payroll tracking
- Develop strategies to maintain and improve the effectiveness of company communications, both internally and externally
- Collaborate with software development teams to establish meaningful metrics and KPIs to monitor the quality and efficiency of the company engineering execution
Experience Required
- Extensive experience in program/project management or operations management role, with components of financial planning, modelling and cost analysis
- Proven track record of working in a Software Industry, Data Science experience would be a plus
Essential and Desirable Skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills, especially in the communication and visualisation of relevant data and KPI’s.
- The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, performance driven, with a passion about the role of technology in transforming businesses and solving meaningful problems
Educational Requirements
