Job Description

Dublin based software client require a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team on a 6 month contract basis.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide infrastructure for PoC’s in the Solutions team.
  • Engage with customers and Technical Account Managers within the Solutions team to gather requirements, submit solutions, and follow up for feedback.
  • Deliver production-ready solutions in collaboration with the Solutions team.
  • Work with product management across multiple teams to continuously productize functionalities developed within the Solutions team that are beneficial to a broader set of customers.
  • Work and knowledge share with the clients’ Platform team regarding best practices, processes, and software tools.

Experience Required

  • Significant experience with the clients’ technologies below.

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
  • Terraform
  • HTTP (REST) APIs and networking
  • Cloud experience (GCP preferred)
  • Solr and ElasticSearch
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Experience with large-scale data processing workflows a bonus

Educational Requirements

  • 3rd level degree or equivalent work experience in lieu

Working Hours & Benefits

  • Daily rate contract
