Job Description

My client is looking for a Service Delivery Manager. The successful candidate will design, develop, implement and manage the service delivery function for my client.


  • Deliver 1st and 2nd level support and associated ICT services to internal and external stakeholders, including: incident and problem management, request fulfilment, change management and procurement.
  • Monitor, define and develop policies and practices to ensure a consistently high level of service is provided, and agreed service levels are achieved.
  • Monitor support demand, trends, capacity, and evaluate customer feedback to develop and implement quality improvement measures and processes.
  • Additional duties may also be added.


  • 3rd level qualification or training in a relevant ICT discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience in a people management role, with demonstrated ability in leading and motivating a team, driving outputs and productivity
  • Experience managing / supervising a service delivery function using ITIL frameworks, incident and problem management, knowledge management and continuous service improvement.
  • Experience using IT Service Management tools
  • Demonstrated ability to manage 3rd party service providers
  • Knowledge or experience using the following technologies;
  • Windows client operating systems
  • Microsoft Office 2013
  • General end user computing and client software
  • Desktop / laptop hardware
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to present at all levels e.g. ICT group meetings, senior management, business and cross-functional audiences
  • Excellent analytical skills and proven problem-solving ability to provide leadership

Ideal to have:

knowledge/experience in the following areas;

  • SharePoint Administration
  • Active Directory, Group Policy
  • Exchange E-Mail, Networking, VLAN’s, LAN/WAN
  • Checkpoint VPN Client
  • Dell Kace management appliance and service desk system
