Senior Technical Project Manager

Our Dublin based client is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager on a contract basis to join their team who will be responsible for successfully delivering strategic IT projects for the client in an efficient and effective manner. This client offers a hybrid working model.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee large scale IT transformation and change projects to budget and schedule.
• Manage internal and external resources to reach project deliverables and goals.
• Define project delivery schedule and implementation strategy.
• Prepare project budget identifying cost estimates and management and resource planning and etc.
• Identify and describe the integration plan: including relevant staff training requirements to ensure smooth incorporation of the new system.
• Encourage and manage cross functional teamwork and create a collaborative working environment.
• Ensure compliance with all change management policies and procedures.

Skills required:

• 8+ years’ experience working in Project Management roles working on large scale projects.
• Capable of working independently and take responsibility for projects success while mentoring and motivating the other team members.
• Developing Stakeholder relationships and meeting expectations
• Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)

Education:

• Project management Certifications such as Prince 2/ PMP or similar
• Relevant 3^rd level Degree from a recognised institution
