Job Description

My client is offering an exciting position as a Senior Systems Engineer. You will be joining a large multinational firm in an important and senior role.

Job Responsibilities

  • You will collaborate with your team to contribute to the development of innovative architectural and developmental solutions on both software and firmware.
  • You will be required to work independently and create, and compile research supported reports which will help the wider development of the company
  • Understand the requirements of both the commercial and data needs of the company and advise on developmental solutions
  • Deal efficiently with the networking needs of the company
  • Work effectively in an agile environment, and understand the importance of prioritising workload correctly
  • Evaluate and implement solution-based strategies

Experience Required

  • Experience developing embedded firmware and software
  • Proven ability to deliver quality software products
  • Proficiency in designing and developing cloud-based software
  • Strong knowledge of C/C++/Python and associated IDEs
  • Ability to work with Linux Iot systems
  • A strong interest in technological development relevant to the role
  • Proven experience working independently and making important judgement calls within strict time deadlines

Educational Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or related field
