Job Description
Our client is looking for a Senior Data Analyst who comes from a strong Data Statistical background and reporting background.
The client is a Semi State public organisation that offers a Defined benefits pension and excellent annual leave and flexible time options. The operate a flexible hybrid work model. Salary guide €85k-90k basic salary per annum.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating a successful data and analytics strategy
- Strive to continuously improve and develop analytics to support the user
- Lead the reporting and data information team
- Provide the necessary internal and external reporting
- Conduct large scale analysis on data sets as well as designing reporting services for stakeholders
- Aid in the facilitation of cross functional meetings, to ensure there is a continuous identification of improvements as well as testing and implementation of new practices where required to meet the needs of the company and stakeholders
- Closely monitoring systems for data collection as well as the development of protocols
Experience/skills Required:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar data related/ banking role
- Good statistics knowledge, working with packages such as Tableau and SPSS
- Proven experience in delivering reporting and analytics projects involving a range of stakeholders
- Strong experience in the use of business intelligence tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau) to develop business user reports
- Statistical software experience would be advantageous (JMP, SPSS, Minitab)
- Ability to keep to strict deadlines and collaborate in a team environment
- Proven experience in successfully delivering projects that meet the needs of the user within the agreed timeframe and at the correct cost
- Excellent problem-solving skills as well as good troubleshooting experience
- Attention to detail is necessary for reporting clear and concise data analysis
- Strong leadership experience with good organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
Education Requirements:
- Masters or Bachelors degree or relevant qualification in Computing, finance, science or equivalent
