Job Description

Excellent client based in Dublin city center, they are looking for a career orientated Java Solutions Architect as they build an array of new practices in this exciting, global organization.

Due to the current C19 climate, WFH options are in place, the client hopes to have employees returning to offices in 2021.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintains the Enterprise Business and Java Technology Strategies
Help build large scale bespoke custom systems (large Enterprise level)
Oversees the Design, build through to Development
Manage and mentor teams of java engineers
Providing input to the future direction of ICT in the client’s projects.
Proven ability to structure, including planning, organising and simplifying information to explain complex technical issues to non-technical people.

Experience Required:

Must have minimum of 3+ years’ in a similar role Architect role.
Experience with Java Technologies is a must.
Good exposure to Microservices and Spring Framework
Strong background of software architecture
Provides further advice as required through Build Stage
Supports the business with all technical requirements when solution is being outsourced
Supports the Test Manager during Non-Functional Testing
Supports validation activities as required
Actively supports accurate project progress reporting, providing status & outlook information as required throughout the project
Actively supports and contributes to management process to help ensure a successful project outcome, in particular contributes frequently and regularly to the RAID, Change & Quality management processes

Educational Requirements:

A third level degree in a related area or relevant work experience in lieu.

Essential and Desirable Skills:

Experience working in a client facing role is a high desirable
Must have Architecture experience
