Job Description

One of our leading financial services clients are looking for A Senior Python Developer to come and join their team in Dublin on permanent basis

Role Responsibilities:

  • Offer and provide support for current CI/CD solutions (automation focused)
  • Constantly strive to improve CI/CD processes and tooling within the development team
  • Create processes to analyse the teams performances in terms of reaching the requirements of the team
  • Undertake root cause analysis and mitigation to see where the improvements can be made by the development team
  • Utilise automation where possible to solve issues
  • Collaboration is key between various development teams to reach one collective goal
  • Continuously look to enhance and improve the processes and culture of the team/ company

Skills:

  • Strong professional experience of working with AWS (API Gateway Fargate, Step Functions)
  • Strong DevOps Experience
  • Extensive Python Development experience
  • Scripting background (BASH, Linux)
  • Infrastructure experience (AWS CloudFormation) as well as others
  • Experience with Github Actions and various other software automation platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective collaborator and strong problem solving skills
  • AWS Certified developer or professional DevOps Engineer preferred
  • Previous experience working in financial services
  • Experience working in an Agile/ Scrum development environment
