My West Dublin client is looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join their expanding team.

My West Dublin client is looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a technology-focused organisation that is well-established in the Irish market. They have a brand-new role for a skilled front-end developer to join their R&D team to deliver next generation systems to their customers.

The ideal candidate with have 5+ years’ experience as a front-end software engineer with desktop and mobile application experience.

*If you have less than 5 years of relevant experience, feel free to still send your CV as this client is also looking for junior / mid-level frontend software engineers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain next generation applications for both desktop and mobile platforms
  • Modify existing applications to improve functionality and resolve technical issues
  • Create clear and concise technical specifications
  • Promote and follow best practices for software engineering and UX design
  • Collaborate with various teams throughout the project lifecycle

Experience Required

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer
  • Must have strong front-end development experience
  • Experience with REST API
  • Experience with both web and mobile applications

Essential and Desirable Skills

  • HTML / CSS
  • JavaScript / Typescript / Redux / Xamarin
  • REST API
  • Mac / Windows / iOS / Android

Educational Requirements

  • Third level degree in a technical field (e.g. Computer Science)

From the initial discussion about my role through, the vetting, onboarding and right through to the invoicing and payment process the experience with Eolas has been first rate.
