Senior Software Engineer

My client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be involved in building up a product engineering team from the early stages whilst defining the culture and best practices for future teams. The Primary focus will be to help evolve the architecture and design of the backend systems to deliver quick and reliable services and complex graph analysis and processing.

Experience Required

• The ability to be flexible and apply yourself to all aspects of the software development life cycle, not just writing code;
• A track record of demonstrating trust and mutual respect as these are crucial to operating well within a high performing team;
• To be trusted to deliver whole outcomes autonomously and work with stakeholders to set expectations;
• Must be comfortable with working remotely.

Desirable Skills

• DevSecOps / DORA mindset
• Depth and breadth of knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Understanding event driven architectures
• Understanding graph databases
• Security minded / Security Champion
• Understanding of threat modelling
