Senior Software Engineer (AWS)

My Dublin-based client is rapidly expanding their international customer base and shows no signs of stopping. As a result, they are further developing their software and data solutions and now require a Senior Software Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based and data-driven software solutions.
• Develop and implement new solutions as well as maintain and improve existing solutions within a complex production environment.
• Respond to support requests from the core business function and resolve their technical issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to automation of CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilise modern technologies and cloud solutions to enhance the company’s technological capabilities.

Experience Required

• 4+ years’ experience as a software engineer
• Python programming experience is essential
• Experience working in a cloud environment, especially AWS
• Experience in a relational database management system, such as MySQL
• Previous experience working in fast-paced data environments / industries would be ideal
