Senior Software Developer (ASP.NET MVC) – 6 months Contract

Job Responsibilities

• Build large scale cloud-based distributed applications
• Integrate new features and extend the capabilities of the exiting ecommerce platform
• Design, develop and deploy web applications in ASP.NET MVC and Angular
• Develop web interfaces for desktops, mobile and tablets
• Understand customer needs and requirements, and developing scalable code to meet the requirements
• Provide design documentation, release notes and test plans
• Working with the Support, Test and Infrastructure teams to resolve any issues that might come about

Experience Required

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience developing enterprise web applications in ASP.NET MVC
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Staying up to date with the latest technologies and trends, and then to make recommendations to management
• Capable of working as both a team player and as an individual
• Excellent communications skills

Essential and Desirable Skills

• Experience in Angular, HTML, CSS and JQuery
• Experience with Cloud Technologies – AWS preferably but not mandatory
• Knowledge of continuous delivery principles like version control, unit and automation tests, and automated deployments
• Knowledge of Microservices and SOLID Development

Educational Requirements

• Computer Engineering or some IT Related Degree
