My Dublin City Centre based client is recruiting for a Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager this is a perm role working on a hybrid model. The Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager will provide Regulatory Compliance advise and expertise to the business by implementing and supporting adherence to regulatory requirements. The main focus of this role is identification of applicable laws and regulations, monitoring and implementing regulatory changes and continuously enforcing & enchancing best practices to ensure all business is carried out in accordance with all applicable legislation, regulations and guidelines.
Job Responsibilities
Compliance Management
- You will lead the development & maintenance of Compliance framework, developing & driving a compliance culture through awareness, training, & providing advice at all levels – up to & including the Executive Committee.
- You will ensure provision of prompt & accurate advice to the business on compliance & regulatory matters.
- You will engage directly with regulators including the Central Bank of Ireland, the Financial Conduct Authority & the Financial Services Ombudsman , as required.
- You will keep the business informed of upstream legal & regulatory changes, & input to the implementation of changes where needed.
- You will be the compliance representative on change projects including the implementation of new & revised regulation, new portfolio migrations & process and system changes.
- You will maintain an accurate & comprehensive inventory of applicable laws, regulations and codes.

- You will input to & ensure that robust policies related procedures are in place to comply with applicable laws, regulations and codes, & internal policy requirements.
- Roll out new/updated policies and procedures where needed.
- Leadership & Team Development
- You will liaise with Operational Risk to ensure Regulatory Risks are documented, reviewed regularly & there are controls in place to mitigate in accordance with Compliance & Operational Risk Plans
- You will partner with the business to enhance the compliance culture
- You will manage a direct report towards achieving the goals of the Compliance team
- You will determine optimal compliance training strategy, content & mode of delivery; maintain accurate & easily accessible training materials & records.
Experience Required
- Strong experience in compliance experience in a financial services environment
- Have the ability to demonstrate detailed knowledge of relevant laws & regulations relevant to Irish financial services, in particular related to mortgage lending legislation & data protection.
- Have experience of Consumer Protection / Conduct Risk (nice to have)
- Knowledge of relevant laws & regulations relevant to UK financial services (nice to have)
- Previous experience operating in a leadership position
- Experience in design & delivery of training courses
Essential and Desirable Skills
- Legal qualification and/or Licentiate of the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland
- Knowledge of relevant laws & regulations relevant to UK financial services (nice to have)
