Job Description

My Dublin South based client is recruiting for a Senior / Mid Level Systems Administrator with a windows background. This position on a permanent basis.


The successful candidate will be responsible for provisioning, installation / Config, Operation and maintenance of the systems hardware and software infrastructure.

Skills Required

  • Fluency in using SCCM for deploying packages, installing updates deploying Windows using OSD
  • Fluency in configuring and maintaining Windows Server services (DFS, DNS, AD DS, DHCP, NPS, ADFS, Printing)
  • Experience with managed AV solution (ESET ERA)
  • Knowledge of email flow (SFP, DMARC, NDR troubleshooting)
  • Experience with Cloud solutions – Office 365 (primarily Exchange Online), Azure, AWS
  • Experience with enterprise class backup solutions (CommVault Simpana v10 or newer)
  • Experience with Lync/Skype
  • Experience with MS SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Email Archiving solutions (Veritas)
  • Good knowledge of Mobile Operating Systems (iOS, Android, Windows)
  • Working knowledge of MDM platforms (AirWatch, MobileIron, InTune)
  • Previous experience with using and troubleshooting Citrix applications.
  • Administration of monitoring tools (SolarWinds, SCOM, Nagios etc)
  • Hands-on experience with UTM Firewalls (FortiGate, Checkpoint) – routing, UTM policies, IPSec VPN setup
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco devices (mostly switches)


  • Deploying packages, installing updates, and preparing Windows deployments using OSD
  • Configuring and managing backup (performing restores, monitoring integrity)
  • Following procedures and guidelines to install, patch, configure, customize, troubleshoot, upgrade, integrate, secure, and maintain systems
  • Fully supporting, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading corporate networks and servers.
  • Installing and integrating new server hardware and applications
  • Log support calls with third-party vendors
  • Troubleshooting email delivery
  • Providing level 2 support for Field Service Engineer / Helpdesk
