Job Description
My leading Educational client is looking for a Senior Manager of Continuing Education, to lead and develop their CE portfolio. This is an exciting new opportunity in a well established company.
Job Responsibilities
- The Director of CE will play a pivotal role in the design, development, accreditation and implementation of new continuous education programmes
- Develop and implement a content strategy for the company’s online CE portfolio
- Stakeholder and client and customer engagement to inform and direct portfolio strategy and development
- Ensure that all CE offerings meet an educational need or practice gap, using data and insights to identify opportunities for growth, improvement and tailoring
- Enhance CE delivery capacity by growing the range of subject matter experts (SMEs) and online tutors through recruitment and professional development pathways
- Manage the SME team to develop engaging, effective, and market relevant CE content
- Lead the development of new CE programs and courses, including researching and identifying new topics and emerging trends, and working with SMEs to design appropriate content
- Ensure the quality of CE content by reviewing and approving all content developed by the team, providing feedback and guidance to ensure that it meets the organisation standards
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends to support the content development strategy
- Develop and manage the CE content budget
- Monitor, assess and analyse the performance and impact of all offerings with regard to delivering on the CE mission, and particularly the impact on learner competence
- Ensure that all content is up to date, valid, fair and balanced and that all education is based on science, evidence, and clinical reasoning as relevant
- Lead on and/or contribute to appropriate internal governance structures as they relate to the quality of the educational experience
- Design and/or oversee assessment methods that appropriately assess impact and change in competence and inform strategy and quality improvement
- Work collaboratively with HPEC to ensure opportunities for professional development opportunities for tutor and SME teams
Experience Required
- Previous experience in a Senior Management role
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning technologies
- Experience in CE curriculum design, development and delivery
