Job Description
Our client, a market leading company company operating in the digital transformation and IOT sector are looking for a Senior / Lead Web Developer to join their team and take on a key role.
Job Responsibilities
- Creation and execution on a vision for providing world-class digital experiences and highly customized for audience needs.
- Conduct analysis of program effectiveness in order to make clear findings to optimize and enhance performance.
- Be responsible for engagement with stakeholders inside and outside the organization, working across all teams that include design, IT and across the business to build user-centric experiences.
- Provide technical expertise as needed for a wide variety of web-based systems
- Monitor, analyse and address web site performance and SEO issues as they are required. Take charge of these elements for the business.
- Develop long term strategies and an overall system roadmap
- Maintain and upgrade your knowledge of best practices and emerging developments in web design, web development, and technology.
Experience Required
- 8-10 + years of experience across multi – site Web development and release management
- Proven working knowledge and ability with WordPress, PHP, JavaScript
- Strong commercial acumen and a high level of marketing knowledge.
- Ability to manage different projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related
Essential and Desirable Skills
- Must be experienced and familiar with HTML, HTTP, CSS, and XML, including internet related software
- Knowledge of web site management, analytical and SEO tools.
- Server Management and hosting skills – LAMP platform
- Global/Multi Language site experience
- Technical knowledge about the latest developments and internet features.
