One of Ireland’s leading technology companies is looking for a Senior Java Developer who has a strong Spring Framework and ideally full stack development background.

One of Ireland’s leading technology companies is looking for a Senior Java Developer who has a strong Spring Framework and ideally full stack development background. The client is also operating a Hybrid Work model when restrictions are fully lifted. They offer a competitive salary and very good benefits package which includes: Bonus, pension, healthcare, 25 days leave and good career progression.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and adhere to a high standard of code and unit testing
  • Coding for new developments
  • Implement Root Cause Analysis
  • Work collaboratively with the other team members
  • Produce high quality and functional design documents
  • Investigate issues and provide comprehensive solutions to these incidents
  • Mentor and oversee the junior team members/developers
  • Complete Peer Reviews

 

Essential Skills:

  • Must have a minimum of 6 years’ experience as a Software Developer
  • Must have a relevant degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering from a recognized 3rd level institute
  • Proven experience working with Java, Spring and Rest API
  • High standard of Written and Verbal Communication
  • Strong Problem-solving abilities
  • Previous experience working with Containers like Kubernetes
  • Working knowledge of software development life cycles, software design and testing
