Senior Front End Web Developer

The Opportunity

My Dublin based client is looking for a senior front-end web developer with a passion for crafting digital experiences. You will be an integral part of a creative team.

Responsibilities 

This role will be focussed around senior front-end web development and the successful candidate must possess a passion for crafting digital experiences. Someone with an appreciation for visual aesthetics and user-centric design, who is excited about making something truly great.

For starters, you should have a solid understanding—and years of experience in—the building blocks of the web: HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Ideally, you’d be skilled at animating and bringing digital interfaces to life with code. The ideal candidate would also be expected to have a keen appreciation for accessibility, performance, and progressive enhancement. You should have experience with front-end templating languages, frameworks and platforms and an interest in keeping abreast of the latest practices.

The client is not looking for a “full-stack developer”, but you should be comfortable with programming JavaScript and a bit of server-side set-up and integration. You’ll be building websites, web apps, bots and interactive experiences, so someone who is a creative thinker and not just a coder is a must.

The successful candidate will work closely with creative teams, designers and account teams, so excellent communication skills are a must.

 Qualifications:

• Strong experience with HTML and CSS
• Comfortable programming JavaScript and some server-side set-up and integration
