Senior Financial Modeller – 12 Month Contract

The client will offer an attractive daily rate for the right person. My client is looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of financial models in a banking or financial environment.

Skills:
The successful candidate neds to have expose to the following models:

• Pricing – in the context of swaps / yield curves / inflation indexes / depreciation / amortisation / credit grades work
• Risk analysis using Monte Carlo simulations
• Future pricing valuations
• General discounting and accumulation
• Linear interpolation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ in a similar role
• An ability to analyse business requirements and work with business teams – comfortable dealing with SME’s
• A good to strong working knowledge of – SQL and SSRS reporting nice to have.
• Understanding requirements using excel analyse business user requirements – Excel to VBA (VBA coding is not a key part of the role)
• A knowledge of C# would be beneficial but not required.
• Quick reaction time to customer issues
