Senior DevOps Engineer

My Dublin-based client has a brand-new opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with the latest cloud-based technologies within a leading company that has an excellent reputation in the Irish market.

This company offers remote and hybrid working options, but you will ideally be flexible to come into the office occasionally if required. Candidates must be based in Ireland to be considered.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain DevOps solutions for a range of systems and applications
• Build tools to improve performance, reduce errors, and streamline processes
• Research, propose and implement innovative solutions across infrastructure and applications
• Build, operate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor performance, report problems, respond to incidents, and resolve issues
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams across the business

Experience Required

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong experience with DevOps tools and processes (CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, Infrastructure as Code)
• Experience working in a cloud based environment (Azure, AWS)

Desirable Skills

• Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
• Databases: Kafka, Hadoop, Spark
• Cloud: Azure, AWS
• Programming / scripting: Python, PowerShell, Bash

Educational Requirements

• Third level qualification in IT, Computer Science, or another related field
