Senior Data Scientist

Job Responsibilities

• Show results in delivering multi-disciplinary projects in the Data Science Team;
• Amalgamate data from different systems;
• Experience of working with Python along with(e.g. TensorFlow, scikit-learn, numpy, pandas)
• Issue, interpret and effectively deliver the results of data analysis using visualization techniques, tools, custom applications, or by narrating stories about the solutions to business problems;
• Have an understanding of traditional and new data analysis methods that can build statistical models and discover patterns in data;
• Work with business stakeholders and engineering teams, ask the right questions to create high quality solutions that solve end-user problems;
• Utilize a range of techniques in artificial intelligence; and
• Provide work estimates and participate in design and implementation reviews.

Experience Required

• Requires a minimum of a Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, statistics, applied mathematics, engineering, physics or an equivalent field;
• 3-5 years’ of experience in developing and designing technology solutions;
• 2+ years of practical data science experience in the application of artificial intelligence, statistics, big data techniques and/or other analytics approaches;
• Experience working with Python, R and/or similar programming languages;
• Experience designing and training models;
• Experience in the use of data visualization tools;
• Basic understanding of SQL and/or Hive (or similar language) to perform ad hoc queries of large datasets; and
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively explain technical concepts.
